Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television series. Her family fled Afghanistan and sought asylum in the US. The actress was born there. Her family was raised in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family from two siblings. Ghanizada's on-air career began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the top actress in the film festival in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she was the character Chiara. She appeared as an actress in numerous television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent roles included the action-science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008, as a member of General Hospital's Primetime spinoff General Hospital. In the second season called Night Shift Ghanizada appeared as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada played Kelly as the Prada character on HBO's Entourage.
