Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She works for ESPN and works as an SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since she was nine years old, a valuable talent that enabled her to get her first position working as an assistant to the producer for Univision in Miami and gave her the chance to collaborate with producers of national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later recruited by the CBS station as an sports reporter. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an investigative reporter for The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to immigration and drug trafficking in both Texas and Mexico. The duties of anchoring for sports or weather were often requested. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. When on vacation, Antonietta stayed at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered the job of his dreams. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, however she knew what she was going to be doing. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. She graduated from high school and was enrolled in media studies at the university. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she is a member. They developed a close relationship. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
